1099S Module

From the Main Menu, click the Utility/1099S bar to display the Utility Menu to the left.  Click the 1099S Menu bar and the 1099S Reporter TABs are displayed below.

The 'A' Record contains information that must be included on the 1099S report regardless of format.

For Closings previously entered and saved in dSETTLE the Auto Add function will automatically copy the contents of those Closing Files which match the Tax Year contained in the 'A' Record Setup page.  If HUD-1 forms are used for Re-finances you have the option to include them by clicking the checkbox also found on the 'A' Record Setup.

The 'Manual Add/Edit of Holding File' TAB can be used to enter Closings not contained in the Auto Add import and to Edit files containing missing or incorrect data.  The counter for records with Missing Data must be zeroed to create a file for electronic reporting or 3.5" diskette.

This screen appears when you check the 'View records with missing data' box in the lower left hand corner of the screen and there are no missing records.

This is a view of the IRS F.I.R.E System status report for filing Tax Year 2005 1099S Returns .  This is done with the file created in the preceding 1099S module of dSETTLE.
